A TRIBUTE TO MY MOM

As some of you know,
I recently lost my angel,
my beautiful Mother.
This page is for her.

Her Journey's Just Begun

Don't think of her as gone away-- her journey's just begun,
life hold's so many facets--this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost--and she was loved so much.

This is a family portrait taken at my parents' 50th anniversary.

ANGELS

Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born. The child asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?" God replied, "Among the many angels, I chose one for you. Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you." The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy." God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you everyday. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy." Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?" God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet wordsyou will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak." "And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?" God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray." "I've heard that on Earth there are bad men. Who will protect me?" God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking it's life." "But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore." God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you." At that moment there was much peace in heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."
"Her name is not important. You will simply call her Mother."

My Beloved wife Jean:
From the second our paths crossed, my life changed forever. You became my Rock to cling to. The void in my life is beyond words to describe.
Love you forever, George

Mom:
You will always be my angel and my hero. Time won’t ever erase the wonderful memories. Everything you did showed us how to love and care. I miss you so much.
Love always, Barbara

Mom,
I am so lonely without you. I miss your love, laughter and your smile. You will never leave my thoughts because I miss you so much and will always remember the memories.
Love you always, Linda

As Mother Day approaches I am saddened because my Grandmother died in February and once again I am reminded that she is gone. She had been sick for a few years and finally lost the battle on Feb. 15th. I had scheduled a visit for the end of February and was mad because I had missed my chance to see her. Then I think about my last live memories of her and am glad that I did not see her at her worst. The last time I saw my Grandmother was in July of 99. She was healthy at the time and came out from Texas for a visit. One of the highlights of her trip was a 11 mile ride on the back of my Valkyrie. She would tell anyone who would listen about that ride. So in her honor, I wanted to share with my cyber family here, and say what a great woman she was. I would not have turned out to be such an upstanding citizen had it not been for her influence. I love you Grandma.

Still in Love

This is my favorite picture of me with Mom. It was taken in 1972.

This is Mom and Daddy and Linda and Brice at one of Mom's favorite places, Disneyland!

Here is a good picture of Mom and Linda.
